Product Introduction
This High-Speed Cooled MCT Photodetector is fabricated from HgCdTe (Mercury Cadmium Telluride, MCT) material, which is sensitive to mid-infrared radiation in the 2–12 μm spectral range. The product is custom-designed for applications requiring high-speed signal detection, supporting high-frequency signal output up to 100 MHz.
The detector can be configured for DC or AC coupled output. It features a highly integrated design that incorporates a low-noise preamplifier circuit and a semiconductor thermoelectric cooler (TEC) controller. A feedback circuit maintains the detector element at temperatures below –40 °C, effectively minimizing thermal noise impact on the output signal. The housing is made of all-aluminum alloy, which provides electromagnetic interference shielding and excellent heat dissipation.
